The Eggersmann Teuton Z50

A tracked, mobile slow-speed shredder built to run hard, maintained easily, and reconfigured in minutes — the machine behind everything EnviroShred does.

The Eggersmann Teuton Z50

The only slow-speed shredder with a screen basket available for hire in WA.

Why the Z50

Maintenance-friendly

Built with operator use and maintenance in mind: robust, reliable, and straightforward to run.

OPEX-friendly

Exceptional fuel savings compared to high-speed grinders and mulchers, with compelling operating costs against anything else in its class.

Versatile

Proven across every application asked of it in Australia, and reconfigurable for a different waste stream in minutes.

Built for precision output

Swap screen baskets to dial in exactly the output size your job calls for.

The Screen Basket System

The Z50 is the most versatile shredder in its class because of one thing: the screen basket. Choose between strip and hex-shaped baskets in a range of sizes to match your input material and desired output — whether that’s a final sized product for green waste and timber, export-spec shredded tyre, or clean recovered steel from mattress processing. Swapping baskets takes minutes, not a workshop visit.

Why a Slow-Speed Shredder

Slow-speed shredders use a slow-turning rotor and exceptionally high torque to tear and crush difficult, bulky material — rather than fracturing it through high-RPM impact like a grinder. That difference matters: high torque tears through construction waste, brick, steel, tyres and mattresses that would stop a high-speed grinder cold, with real operational, financial and safety benefits over the alternative.

Dry Hire

Machine-only hire that puts you in control — your crew, your schedule. Minimum 40 hours/week, mobilisation covered by the customer. Single machine through to a full equipment package.

Clean Output, Every Time

An overband magnet recovers ferrous metal from the material stream automatically, so what comes out the other end is ready for recycling or reuse — no separate sorting step required.
